In a unique strategy to give maximum replay value, players get all the riders, tracks and teams from the official 2009 MotoGP season AND free downloadable content from the 2010 season after every race. These free updates, including the new Silverstone circuit and team updates, allow gamers to enjoy the most up to date MotoGP season content earlier than ever before, free of charge!
The robust online mode lets gamers vote for the circuit, bike class and number of laps before you take to the track and compete in an online Arcade race or Career mode championship. Once the race comes to an end check the online leaderboards to see where you rank against the rest of the world. Not only will you find competitors’ lap times but the option to download racing lines and ghosts which will help you compete against the very best - or for those new to the series learn the skills you need to race to the top of the leaderboards.
MotoGP 09/10 features an all new Arcade mode where players must complete different race challenges before the time runs out. Show off your skills to stay in the race – each lap, clean section, overtake and high top speed rewards players with time bonuses, but crashing off the track or being overtaken means time will be deducted making this an exciting gameplay addition for racing game fans. Run out of time and your chances of living the MotoGP dream will be over!
Complementing Arcade mode is the introduction of a fully realised Career mode. Take control of your MotoGP championship destiny on and off the track, competing in all three MotoGP bike classes and hiring engineers, team managers and press officers to build your career as a racing pro and ultimately win the World Championship. Overtaking, slipstreaming and showboating are rewarded with Rider Reputation points – the more points you earn, the more attractive you become to other manufacturers and sponsors.
